Mulled Wine and Mince Pie Morning

Our latest event was held this morning. There was a good turnout of people looking for a chat, a cup of warming mulled wine and a chance to pick up a few gifts ready for Christmas. More than £400 was raised for the Hall Fund which is fantastic! Thank you to everyone who attended. Jean also announced another grant, of £500 from Taziker, so a big thank you to them.

It's nearly time for the next quarterly newsletter so don't forget to pass your interesting news and seasonal good wishes on to Marion for inclusion. And finally, our next planned event is the wine, cheese and quiz evening on the 10th December. A mere £10 will get you a glass of wine, cheese and biscuits and entry to the quiz (extra wine by donation). Please let Jean or Beverly know by Friday 2nd if you'd like to come along so they know how much cheese (and wine!) to buy.
