About the event
Removing rubbish from the foreshore is something everyone enjoys - whether it's in lovely sunshine or rain! Please wear appropriate warm gear and boots for walking over uneven ground.
Fred Bruce will allocate areas to be covered by volunteer teams on the day so please arrive at 9 a.m. prompt for his health and safety briefing.
The beach clean is particualry popular with the younger folk, who are rewarded with an easter egg hunt organised by Jean Smith.
Volunteers can relax afterwards from 1 p.m. onwards with a BBQ in the forecourt of 6 Gallanach - hamburgers & sausages, tea and coffee will be provided but please bring nibbles/biscuits/cakes as well as drinks to share. Donations towards the cost of the BBQ will be accepted on the day.
