AGM update

Saturday 8th saw the church full for the Lochgair Association AGM.

Minutes of the meeting will be published here shortly, but brief highlights are:

There was a presentation of a gift to Fred and Deirdre in recognition of their contribution to the village over the last 20 years; John Forbes from the Communities Housing Trust spoke about affordable housing and their role in helping to facilitate the provision of housing locally (for more information visit their website chtrust.co.uk ); Jean gave her chairpersons report looking back over the last year; Sandie gave the financial report, which looks very healthy particularly due to the generous grant from the National Lottery Community Fund, and Mick gave an update on the hall where all that lovely money will be spent! Bev gave a look ahead to some future events including this weekend's visit to Asknish House and the following weekend's coffee morning/book sale (all donations of books and home baking gratefully received).

Many thanks to all who attended, hope to see you again at many of the upcoming events!
